Stevanato Group, specializing in glass pharmaceutical primary packaging, glass converting machines, visual inspection systems, assembling and packaging machines for the pharmaceutical industry, announces that Monica de Virgiliis has been appointed as a member of its Board of Directors.
Monica de Virgiliis has a degree in Electronic Engineering at Politecnico of Torino, and now she is a high international leader in advanced technology fields. She has played various executive management roles in multinational groups both from the operational and the strategic point of view. From 2015 she is Vice President of Infineon Technologies, responsible for a business line. From 2001 to 2015 she played various roles in the French-Italian STMicroelectronics Group, including VP Corporate Strategy & M&A and General Manager Wireless Multimedia, where she successfully led a product portfolio transformation and business model changing. From 1996 to 2001 she has been involved in the French Commission for Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy (CEA), with the mission of developing partnerships with Italian companies. She started her career in 1993 in Magneti Marelli Electronics Division as a manufacturing engineer. From April 2015 she is an Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Prysmian Group.
