Updates on the status of our production plants

The coronavirus pandemic has been changing the world business scenario in the past months, challenging individuals, communities, and companies in many ways.

Stevanato Group is focusing first and foremost on its employees’ health and safety, thoroughly applying the National Guidelines, continuing to reinforce the rigorous containment measures to reduce the risk of workplace transmission.

We are extending the measures implemented in Italy and China to all the manufacturing plants.

In Italy, we guarantee the continuity of production and a minimal office presence, extensively implementing remote working. All our staff is committed to ensuring the usual responsiveness to answer our customer requests and secure supplies to support patients’ treatments, even under the current challenging circumstances.

While we work to ensure business continuity to our clients, Stevanato Group has decided to donate an initial amount of 500.000 Eur to support the medical staff facing the emergency in the Veneto region. The donation consists of financial help and medical supplies to a plurality of healthcare facilities in Padua, Venice, and Treviso province.

In China, our manufacturing plant located in Zhangjiagang, China, is fully operative since its reopening in the second week of February, and personnel is following carefully all the prescriptions indicated by the Local Authorities.

Also we do not expect relevant impacts on deliveries from our glass operations in Bratislava, Slovakia.

We’ve created a task force to address this particular moment and ensure the health and safety of all our stakeholders while defining plans to guarantee business continuity.
