Due to increased worldwide demand, early this year, Stevanato Group’s plastic facility in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, started expanding its diagnostic production hall and completed it within a timeframe of only six months.

This new ISO8 clean room hosts five state-of-the-art 64 cavities injection molding lines and three two cavities injection molding machines. The extension allows doubling the production of diagnostic consumables for immunology analysis for more than two billion pieces per year.

Operations are ongoing 24 /7 with the 64 cavities injection molding machines dedicated to manufacturing cups, along with tips with electrically conductive polymers; the two cavities injection molding machines produce the racks, everything up to final packaging. Advanced inline visual inspection ensures the end product quality.
