PDA Parenteral Packaging Conference

The PDA Parenteral Packaging Conference will be held in Venice on March 2019.

This edition theme will be “Interaction of Product, Package, and Process”: all the presentations and activities will be focused, in particular, on how primary packaging of pharmaceutical dosage forms should be designed, manufactured, processed and assembled.

Here below some hot topics that will be discussed during this two-days conference:

• Special requirements for handling, storage and packaging, especially for complex forms of pharmaceuticals
• Latest regulatory updates and developments
• Packaging materials and components and role of Container Closure Integrity (CCI)
• Glass characteristics (interactions with drug product and end-user preferences)
